Saturday 31 March 2012 - Alexandra Race Day, Alexandra (#41)

Well, it was a lovely day for the races, and Pans on Fire closed the Alexandra racing season in style. Set up under our new tents behind the Steward's Box, the band played a welcoming set as the punters arrived and then played more pieces in between each race.

We also joined in on the action, and laid a few bets of our own. When Mr Butterscotch narrowly beat home Lost Chord in the 4th we collected on both and added some funds to the band's bank account!
